Early sun in trees. New viewers need to know that I manipulate images when I feel like it. Neither the Colden Daily Image nor the Hilo Daily Image were completely "straight," although mostly they were. The FDI, like the others, will include images that express what I saw (or felt) in whatever way seems to suit. I hope that doesn't sound pretentious! It's really very simple: I shoot what catches my eye, and then process to reflect what I saw, as best I can. That's it.
